Pantheon of Gods

Religion is less belief than fact on Saulis. The existence of gods is generally accepted as truth, due in part to the existence of magic. While some religious sects may worship one god above others, nearly everyone believes in the following deities:

  • Kelemvor (Lawful Neutral), god of the dead, who rules over the domain of Death, and whose symbol is and upright skeletal arm holding balanced scales
  • Lathander (Neutral Good), god of birth and renewal, who rules over the domain of Life, and whose symbol is a road traveling into a sunrise
  • Leira (Chaotic Neutral), goddess of illusion, who rules over the domain of Trickery, and whose symbol is a point-down triangle containing a swirl of mist
  • Milil (Neutral Good), god of poetry and song, who rules over the domain of Light, and whose symbol is a five-stringed harp made of leaves
